Long story short.
Begin a few months ago a new job as a smartphones/consoles/pc/laptop repair tech.
New place,new co-workers.They listened to cheesy comercial music all day from on line radio.(which is illegal in some way here in Spain,you need to pay some kind of license,don't ask).
I was patient,hoped for some change in music taste,but after 2 months drove me to tell my employer about it.
No problem,listen to whatever pleases you and if that avoid being fined,fine.
Well,i have a list of songs/albums which i listen when i work.
Favourites are Carbon Based Lifeforms,Solar Fields and a few more.
After a few weeks,i suddendly reverted to what they listened previously.
A female co-worker said:
- I understand now,what a noisy ambient,no focus whatsoever.Thank you for showing us different music.
Well,in a way i am being a d!ck by forcing everyone to listen to my music.But boss saw it as an improvement,no reason to keep old style and if everyone voted for it,so be it.
tl;dr i forced co workers to listen to my music,everyone agreed.
