Yeah so I got Corsair VS450 PSU and first thing I noticed was that it ran slightly hotter than my previous cheap PSU. Took a look and noticed plastic membrane between the fan and the parts inside covering half of the fan. Don't know why is this needed and why they thought it's a nice idea but unscrewed it and got rid of it.
Removed part of my new PSU. Will it work?
