I recently got the above card to upgrade from my 6870 and even after it took a little 'doing' to get the card to work. (it wouldn't read the same driver update {14.12 Omega was already installed} before placement had to run DDU Sweeper and get into VGA mode install card then run the same driver install again)now the problem I am seeing is if I choose to activate the 'boost' button and need to do a restart/reboot the card will not post getting a 'no signal' from my flat screen. If I shutdown and deactivate the boost feature and restart all goes normally. The boost feature was a mild selling point and am curious as to why this doesn't function properly. I'm guessing that it may have something to do with only having two 6 pin 12v rails rather than one 8 pin and one 6 pin like its sister the 7950 has but I may be wrong (just guessing ya know) anyone have an idea as to what would cause the boost feature to render the product null and void???
