Specs: Win8.1, latest Nvidia drivers 347.52, GTX 660 TI, memory overclock +550
I know that pink/green checkerboard artifacts normally mean that the memory is overclocked too high but I seriously am not so sure any more. This issue ONLY appears in BF4 and there only sporadically, like sometimes after 2 or 3 hours of playing.
I can run any other test and benchmark and even increase my memory OC to 620 and have no problems whatsoever. I don't get it.
SOME people said it might have to do with the card not getting enough voltage, right now it runs at 1202 core speed at 1.175V. They say that some vendors by default don't give the card enough voltage in the BIOS.
When it happens, the game/comp normally entirely freezes up and I need to reboot, and sometimes it also says the NV driver crashed. Event viewer shows something like \Device\Video3
NVRM: Graphics TEX Exception on (GPC 3, TPC 0): TEX LAYOUT2
and it seems I am not the only one with this issue.
Just wondering whether anyone has the same problem with BF4...
