Currently I have a Samsung LED 24" screen.
1080
60Hz
about 5+ years old.
I'm wanting to replace it with a larger screen, so 27"
I mostly use my PC for gaming, so I'm really interested in G-SYNC
with regards to resolution, I am happy with 1080. I don't believe that I will be able to have max GFX settings on most games I play if I run at a 1440 resolution? (I prefer to have max settings vs a higher resulotion, personal preference)
Next factor is TN vs IPS. I see most people on the forums highly recommend IPS. My issue with IPS is the refresh rate. As I mentione, I mostly game, so refresh rate is important. Can you get G-SYNC IPS screen? Will it be afforable?
Anyway, I've found this screen;
Acer Predator XB270HAbprz 27"
+ 27"
+ G-SYNC
-1080 (but not much of an issue, see above)
-TN (so viewing angle not great? picture quality not as good as IPS?)
The price is about $500 - But I guess that what it costs to have a 27" G-SYNC screen?
Suggestions/Comments/corrections ?
