What worries me is this:
1) This is an NVIDIA Gameworks title.
2) There is not even the slightest trace of a profile for the game in any driver release so far. That might not mean much, but in the end it might.
3) In the recommended requirements, an R9 290 is the equal of a GTX 770, which we all know it isn't. Also historically, games who do that kind of equalization, run craptastically on AMD hardware at launch (see AC Unity, Dying Light etc).
Games are a very personal matter of taste for people, and I know that GTA V was the title for most people this year, but for me it is the Witcher that is the most important game of this year.
Does anybody have a clue about proper driver support on launch date, or seen it run on AMD hardware?
Guess what launches in a month!
