I have recently purchased a really nice Lg 49" 4k/3d/Smart TV and I have a Win7 desktop that's a couple years old but still has decent hardware. i7 870 cpu/ PNY gtx470 XLR8/ 8g 1333mhz/ 1tb WD Black Cav./ etc Anyway I am a bit lost when it comes to setting up any UHD profiles on my desktop which isn't showing me any choices higher than 1920x1080 at 60hz. I have a 1.4 HDMI cable BUT the HDMI to mini HDMI convertor cable that came with the GPU is 1.3 HDMI so I guess the highest resolution is 2560x1600 at 30hz cause at 60hz or 59hz I get a test failed. Is this correct or is there any other better options? I wish I had a guide or info site to understand what the basics of UHD settings or anything that can get you started in the right direction. I am using it at 2560x1600 30hz right now and seems to be pretty decent but the TV is capable of much more like all res. at 60hz and Deep Color 10bit. Like I said I am lost!!! Any advice, info, or help would be great! Thanks!
