So with GTAV finally on its way to PC, I've been thinking about the release difference between the console versions and the PC. All conspiracies aside as to why such a large time frame, lets focus on the the development of the pc version of GTAV and if you would be happy if other developers followed the same development cycle..
Personally, I dont have that much free time to play games anymore and when the time is there, i dont enjoy it like i use to. Its not nostalgia or rose tinted glasses, but gaming isnt what it use to be imo. I would much prefer that developers went the same way about it as R* has with gtav, as that way, when it finally release and i finally get to play it, atleast i know that it will be the definitive version (outside of mods).
- Would you be happy if every other port or re-built from the ground up title was to go the same way as R* has with GTAV. The massive gap between the console version and the PC to improve gfx and optimizations?
- Or, would you rather have a straight native port that just worked and released closer to the console versions so you could just be done with it and move on?
