My clan has been running a game on Windows for some years (virtual server), and there always have been some sort of lagg spikes every 5 seconds or so.
Yesterday we decided to try out the Linux version, and to our amazement all the lagg spikes are not there anymore.
My guess is some sort of windows thingy in the background is causing the lagg spikes.
Is there a way to track down what is causing this ?
Does anyone have a clue ?

How to track down processes that could casue lag spikes.
