About to Purchase:
:Alphacool 240mm 60mm thick or 280mm rad 60 mm thick for front of case.
:Alphacool 360mm x 45mm or 30mm rad
:Ek-d5 vario pump xres combo
:Ek-vardar f2-120mm fans x3 or 5
So I'm stuck pretty much on what size rads I should purchase for this build and thickness of rads do to the room i have in my case. Is This sufficient cooling for the items listed with a decent overclock or overkill? I will be adding another 980 hof in the future so I would like enough cooling for the second card as well.
Should I run push pull configuration in both rad setups or just one on the top rad? Also should I replace my front fans that came with the case with the fans in have listed? And mounting say the aerocool or ek Vardar where those fans are currently effect the push or pull configuration? Or remove those altogether and mount them all on the inside? I would rather keep the estic look! I'm just really worried about the space i have left when it comes to the rads and fans and pump placement both top and bottom!
Would you recommended me also getting a fan controller? I'm willing to remove the 5in drive bays as well if it comes to it..
Last but not least what do you think of my build? Is there anything I'm leaving out or would recommend I should get? This is my dream build and want to get this right.. I hope to hear from you all!
