OK guys. So it looks like my GTX460 died during the weekend. I don’t want to waste any money on this old PC, but at the same time I’m not going to get a new one anytime soon. So I need a cheap VC to make it work again.
The only game I play, beside old or remastered games is Assetto Corsa. The GTX460 was struggling with it – 60fps was possible only on hotlap with medium settings – GPU and VRAM at 100% and CPU about 50-60%. So it seems I can get a little bit better GPU before the CPU stars to bottleneck it.
The options it seems are a new 750 or a 2nd hand 560ti or 660. Don’t want an AMD video card – I’m used to Nvidia and also not very keen on AMD drivers. So what would you guys recommend me to get between:
Palit 750 2G 128bit OC new
Palit 660 2G 192bit 2G
Gigabyte 660 2G 192bit OC
Zotac 560ti 448 cores 320bit 1280mb
(keeping in mind my PC specs and the inevitable bottleneck that an old PC like this will create)
