Ok.. so i have tried everything i know to do and am getting desperate for help..
i know my way around computers but by no means am i an expert. so with that said.
I have been playing a game called Heroes of the storm by blizzard. And frequently my game has been crashing. i run dual monitors, and the game freezes for a sec(mid to late game usually), both monitors go black and say no signal, followed by it coming back to my desktop, all the while i can hear the game looping sounds in the background and i can still hear voice chat from mumble.. usually after the crash i see my desktop but can't see my mouse because the game client is still technically open but not responding. sometimes the game will come back.. sometimes it won't.. i was running windows 8.1 prof. and would get TDR messages after the fact.. but i have wiped my computer in efforts to fix this, and am now on windows 7 ult. instead of tdr, now the error is actually from the blizzard client saying, failed to create a graphics content. which when searching, shows driver issues..
before wiping my computer, i tried reinstalling drivers.. running gpu stress tests with furmark.. (worked perfectly) i tried lowering my graphics settings in game instead of the highest, i went down to medium and it happened less often, but still happened. changed from fullscreen to windowed, disabling my other monitor.. i am going to run memtest tonight to see if maybe its one of my memory sticks.. but thats my last guess.. last option. so please if anyone has some insight, please share.:bang:
