GTX 970 Gigabyte G1 DVI Broken

mercredi 18 février 2015

I was flashing my bios, like any other time, everything went just as it did before, I did everything the same way as before, it seemed fine. I went to reboot, uh-oh, no display!

I was like, okay... if something's wrong with the bios, there's dual bios on the Gigabyte cards.

Nope. I just went through more than an hour of trouble trying to find out what the exact issue was and fixing it.

I used RDP to re-flash, while it still actually booted. Which worked fine and everything was great until I found out my second monitor would not work. The PC will no longer boot with DVI plugged into the 970. I've broken the G1's BIOS for DVI. I can't get it to boot with it plugged in, thus I can't flash it back to the default, Dual BIOS seems to be doing nothing at all.

Any ideas? Right now I'm using a direct HDMI connection, but I'd rather not have a card with a permanently broken DVI port.

I'm now tired, sad, and upset. And I did all this for nothing, now I'm running stock bios, fantastic!
