Hi there,
I want to buy a second gaming computer but a low budget one. I am not looking for any high details in games, i would just like to be able to play games of today. As far as GPU goes there is no trouble but when it comes to CPU ...
Basicly second hand CPUs and motherboards are as follows.
First gen intel 1156 socket in my country motherboards are expensive, couldnt find second hand under 50, while processors are cheap, i7 970 u can get for 30.
Second and third intel 1155 socket motherboards are cheap and processors are expensive, couldnt find anything under 100, motherboards you can get for 30.
fourth intel 1150 socket you can get new motherboard for under 40, second hand for 20, but processors are very expensive, i couldnt find any i processor under 120 ( second hand ), the only one under was anniversary edition pentium which was 80.
Motherboards which allow overclocking are even more expensive and since i want to overclock that is important.
So i was thinking, what can AMD offer in this regard ? Maybe budget quad that i can overclock high and will be cheaper then intel ? Ever since C2D i was in intel processors only so i have no idea what AMD has to offer. And ideas for a budget setup ?
