My brother-in-law asked for my help speccing out a new PC. He isnt an 'enthusiast' like we are. He just wants a competent machine for general use and medium-strength gaming.
He doesnt want to build his own machine this time around Once I tell him the sort of things to look for he wants to buy one from a boutique vendor.
Do any of you have experience from buying from them? If so, who is good and who should we avild.
His budget is in the $1000 - $1500 range, and he doesnt need a monitor.
