I was checking out new low profile ram chips for the new noctua-d15 I am getting. The ram chips shown show the ram with the 1st and 3rd slots filled. I have been reading that is how to do it properly. On my ASUS Maximus Hero VI board i am running 1st and 2nd right next to each other with no problems for over a year.
So if it works with my config is there any need to change it?
